Daffodil Doily Flowers Craft
Introduction
Paper doilies bring out the elegance in these daffodils!
Materials
- small paper doilies: 2 per daffodil
- green pipe cleaner: 1 per daffodil
- green plastic beads: 2 per daffodil
- scissors
- glue
Steps
Step 1
Thread a bead about 1cm into the pipe cleaner. Fold the pipe cleaner over the bead, then twist tightly.
Step 2
Cut a paper doily in half. Place the pipe cleaner with bead attached onto the middle of the doily. Fold one of the straight edges over the pipe cleaner. Place a line of glue along the other straight edge. Fold over the edge with glue to form a triangle shape. After the glue has dried, gently press the straight edges together to form a cone shape.
Step 3
Take another doily and fold it in half, then into a quarter. Open the doily back up into one half. At the middle fold line, make the smallest tear possible.
Step 4
Open the doily and thread the pipe cleaner through the small hole, until the two doilies meet.
Step 5
Take a bead and thread it through the pipe cleaner all the way until it touches the doily.
Step 6
The bead will hold the doily in place.
