Tissue Paper Poppies
Introduction
I love the vibrant colors of these poppies! You can choose any colors that you like to make these poppies!

Materials
- tissue paper: magenta, yellow, light green
- scissors
- floral tape
- green floral cloth wire

Steps
Step 1
For one poppy, cut the magenta tissue paper into 2 squares. Then fold in half and cut out a "C" shape with wavy edges. **Save the scrap tissue paper after cutting out the petals.** For the stamen, cut a rectangle with fringes on one side from yellow tissue paper. For the middle section, cut out a square from light green tissue paper.

Step 2
Take the scrap tissue paper from the petals and scrunch it up into a ball. Place it in the center of the light green tissue paper and twist the edges of the light green tissue paper together.

Step 3
Wrap the floral tape around the light green tissue paper stem and wire a few times until tightly fastened.

Step 4
Wrap the yellow stamen around the light green tissue paper. Wrap floral tape around to fasten the yellow stamen to the wire.

Step 5
Thread one petal through the wire, starting from the end opposite of the stamen until the petal is at the right under the stamen.

Step 6
Bunch the petal together and fasten with floral tape.

Step 7
Thread the second petal through the wire, bunch the petal together and fasten the petal with floral tape.
